This is CFO's download section where you can find maps, patches and other files.

All files contained in this section are free of viruses as far as we know but with increasing knowledge and hackers some file might have been placed here without our full knowledge.

We assume no responsibility for what downloading these files may cause to your system, most of these files have been downloaded from THE MFB and a few other sources, the files have been tested by me on my system.

Patches and other Files: Snow Fields Patch This fixes the snowfields map. You must already have the map installed for this patch to work. There are no boundries to this fix, and you can get to the batchall area and even go down into the lava pits. but it's still cold down there, and you can walk around in the lava. All in all, could be lots of fun. To use this patch, un zip the files and copy the readermp4.zbd file into the mechwarrior\zbd\cb4 folder. Please note that this IS NOT a fix supplied by Hasbro, and is not endorsed by hasbro, but it does work.
The Mech3 No CD patch reduced to 20 K, put in your mech3 folder and execute.
CockPit Remover Patch This is the modified file zipped for Mechwarrior3 use. Please unzip to microprose/mechwarrior3/zbd. Make sure you backup the existing mechlib.zbd file!
MS Packet Loss Patch (Win98) This is a patch from microsoft that supposedly fixes some packet loss problems with Windows 98. Packet loss is often the reason many folks float, skate and lag-out.
